CT successfully completes the development of new low-cost thermoplastic composite manufacturing processes for the aeronautical industry.

The goal of the AEROPLAS project was to develop a new manufacturing process for thermoplastic matrix composites using low-cost technologies for the aeronautical industry. The initiative came out of the need to incorporate lighter, more environmentally sustainable solutions in this sector and at a lower cost, by using thermoplastic materials instead of thermostable composites. This required the development of new production processes and adapted tools that were economically and energy efficient.
